i just tried the r1827 and i must say after decoding tht the emu is fantastic... its really well done guys

with r1828, the audio is just superb... not stuttering but the video does stutter during cutscenes and during normal play. Also noticed in r1827 and r1828 tht when maximizing the screen the game goes white (although sound is heard) and when minimized the game remains white until the sound starts to stutter and the game crashes
it tells me java binary has stopped working (dialog)

PS - The game is even better when playing with sounds... nice work hyakki esp for this thing

EDIT - Another issue in r1828 is tht when waiting for the first video to load, it loads to this screenshot's position but when it is about to disappear the emu crashes... doesnt happen in 1827
Oops, I've identified a problem with the video decoding when enabling the MediaEngine caused by r1828... I'm working on it!
so far, r1801+ revs cant get pass the Zack vs Angeal fight scene at end of chapter 7.

I hope this is now fixed in r1832... could you test again the videos using the MediaEngine?

Thanks!

Well it doesn't crash but the fps seems to fluctuate randomly and the video tents to lock up sometimes. On a side note, there's also this annoying noise I keep hearing when you pause or reset during a video. It doesn't go away until I close the emulator.
videos are working again in r1832 (faster too, i was getting 60-65fps on the intro video

but it still has some issues with decoding audio with the video, if you have an extaudio file the video will stop playing after a few seconds

This should be fixed in r1833
