I play Crisis Core in French on ULES01045 / JPCSP 2187

I've an ATi so i've checked these video settings :
- Only GE graphhics (not recommended for homebrew)
- Use vertex cache
- Enable saving GE screen to Textures instead of Memory

Game is workin fine,
Only 8-10 fps during fight.
Around 30 fps during scene or zack's move.
I use antialiasing x8 and resize video x3
Question: What is anti-aliasing for, anyway?

It makes the jagged lines around 3d models smoother and more realistic.
Is there any way to prevent random hangs occuring in the game? After I say 10-15 minutes of playing music goes on but the game hangs. It's quite annoying and it's ruining the fun.
Im playing on 2188 with settings:
Only GE graphics
Use vertex cache
Use shaders
Use a geometry shader for 2d rendering
Enable saving GE screen to textures...
Enable dynamic shader generation

Use media engine and sonicstage
Use compiler (seto to 500)

My rig is:
c2d e7300 3.9 ghz
geforce 8600gt
2gb ram
Ok I solved the problem myself, unticking vertex cache did the trick.
the resizing thing is really nice without speed loss for me
by the way is opengl acceleration for java enabled? sorry for doubting

It's under the display tab of the config menu. I don't think it works quite yet ( from my experience ) so you'll have to config you graphics card manually to do that.
Hey can someone help me with the config please I can't get the game to go over 4fps and if I change the config i get an error and the game wont load what can i do??[attachment=5834]

Well, I tried turning it on on my graphics card (ATI) and JPCSP basically super lagged and crashed when I tried to load a game. I tried turning on JPCSP's antialiasing. The colours turned real bright and something was up with the shadows (it made 3D look like 2D).

So I reverted back to no antialiasing in the end. But thanks for your explanation! Big Grin
