Media
enabled Use Media Engine.

i've unchecked all of the other options, except default at the General tab.

[PROBLEM]
and i ran the emulator from the batch file (not java), and used r1799. but when i selected P3P and clicked "Load", the game won't run. any solution/ideas ?

Did you push it twice. I have to do that. =0
I meant the UMD Browser window didn't close when i clicked "load".
it should be closed first before we can run the game, right ? so what's the problem ?

However, when i disabled the "Use Media Engine" option.. i could easilly ran it..
what's the benefit of enabling media engine ? i don't think i understand it.( unless someone explain, i think)
Please help me. I'm new to PSP emulators.

1. Why does my Persona 3 runs 9fps? Isn't there any other way to speed it up?

2. A bit off-topic. Compatibility says that P3P is encrypted. What does it mean?

Um...Not much. Media engine so far hasn't done much. If you want the opening video, you know the one from the trailer, disable only ge. That should work.

I think the UMD Browser window don't close when you have media engine check is because your using 64bit version. not compatible with media engine.
media engine gives you the ability to see the game videos. That way I think it helps with compatibility of some of the games.
I think what the devs want is to accurately emulate psp as much as they can. media engine is a step to that. not perfect yet but great progress so far.

nah. i'm using 32bit version of windows 7 . i see. so that's how media engine works. so you are saying that media engine can only work with 32bit version of OS, while it won't work in 64bit version. well, i'm using 32bit version of OS now, then what's the problem that caused the "UMD Browser" window didn't close when i clicked "Load" ?

I thought you were using the 64bit jpcsp. sory meant to say 64bit jpcsp.
since your using the 32bit jpcsp. the other reason could be that, you didn't extract the ffmpeg-natives located in lib\windows-x86 folder.
check your logger to see if you get errors whe you try to load.
