thank you jeremymd, my hardware is intel core 2 duo 2.0 ghz, nvidia 9600m gt 512 mb, 3 gb ram.
maybe, cause is hardware, but i dont understand when i open a map , it is fast, 5 minutes later when i again open the same map, it is slower, there is no any program or application running at background. it is interesting Smile

I am not sure it this will help you, but have you try using the Garbage Collector options on JPCSP Launcher? Maybe ConcMarckSweepGC will bring any difference.
Okay, I'm at Peacewalker 2nd battle. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not or this boss is REALLY F**** hard.

I manage to reduce peacewalker's life down to just 2 bars remaining. But at this point, he jumps to a corner of the map and starts counting down and I CAN'T F****** STOP IT! I tried everything. I hit it with rank 4 full load of gustav, rank 3 laws, rank 2 rpg7s and a strike support rank 2. The thing is invulnerable! His life stayed at 2 bars after all those attacks.

It could possibly be just me needing more r&d although i'm at lvl 67 r&d already(and I know this is beatable solo), but I have noticed some bugs while playing.

- some stages, it seems like you're invisible. they don't see you but you can shoot them. although when you want to fulton them, the icon doesn't show up and you can't.
- sometimes, there is a no-collision bug. any gun i use doesn't hit them.
- cocoon battle, after skipping the intro, there ISN'T A COCOON and you're stuck in a huge arena with a kickass bgm and no boss.

all of these bugs resolve when you restart jpcsp and try the mission again, except for the peacewalker 2 one. it's not hard. it's just that any damage i make when it's down to 2 bars can't stagger the bugger. so this could possibly be a bug? if anyone gets this far, please let me know if you experience the same thing.

I had to be sure you followed this.

And of course, like any game, for it to have max performance, close any unnecessary services/processes BEFORE launching game.
Considering your hardware is even worse than mine(haha, i know that feel, bro..), you should make sure your games have as much resources as it possibly can.

I use gamebooster as a shortcut to do this shutting down of processes. Give it a try.

Unfortunately, I have confirmed by testing that the Peacewalker 2nd battle is unbeatable in JPCSP. I have tried it with a myriad of settings offering maximum compatibility, to no avail.

And I worked hard to make sure. Since I couldn't transfer my jpcsp savegames to my PSP, I had to completely start over on my PSP to get to the peacewalker 2nd battle. I beat the bugger with just rank 2 launchers. Something I couldn't do in jpcsp with rank 4 launchers.

Devs, PLEASE! Make it work. :'(

Extremely good news. If you have Magicsave in your PSP, you can work around this bug by loading your jpcsp save to your actual PSP. get through the peacewalker 2 battle on your psp then transfer back to jpcsp for mondo graphics again.

Use SFO type 2 and don't forget to have magicsave "read invalid data".
Really? I haven't reach that section but gameplay was so nice on so short time for being true. Also, remember to post the log. I am not sure if is needed on debug or info level, or the info/debug with the profiler file; you could try with info.

There are some specific maps where you'll either need to activate or deactivate sonicstage decoding just so it won't freeze. It's a crude workaround but it does work. And to my experience sonicstage decoding is the only reason the game even stalls.

And there isn't any errors or anything showing up. The game thinks it's running perfectly and doesn't know it's cheating because it won't let me kill peacewalker 2.

No worries. Smile The newer builds have better compatibility with sound forge now, it hardly conks up. Good work, devs. Big Grin

Unfortunately though, even after trying the newer builds, peacewalker 2nd battle is still unbeatable in jpcsp, so this game stays in semi-playable state. Unless you have your own psp and just beat his ass there.
