Persona 5 [BLUS31604]
(08-04-2017, 04:08 PM)zeromisery00 Wrote: Tried this using latest masterbuild using my laptop (specs on my sig) and here goes my results:

(playing on 720p w/ optimal settings)

Opening Title: 30 FPS
Title Screen: 20-23 FPS
Anime cut scenes still stutters, but watchable compared to past builds (to watch cutscenes, go to YouTube for the meantime)
Cut scenes: 25-30 FPS
Town: 10-17 FPS
Loading Screen: 30 FPS
Dungeons: 15-25 FPS
Battle: 25-30 FPS

Overall, I would say that at this point, this game is now playable. Love this game since Persona 3 and now I can finally play the latest.
Will post in the future if I experience any crashes/bugs.

Same performance here, I also have the exact same laptop CPU

Pretty slow, probably not playable. Of course RPCS3 will become faster but... you are using a dual core CPU (with HT) to emulate an 8 threaded console...

Just found a potential way to increase game FPS.

Task Manager > Processes > find RPCS3.exe > Right click > Go to details > Right Click > Set priority > Realtime

I've increased mine for about 5-10 FPS where the song in the intro where MC escaping is now smooth and gameplay has less stutter.

Tell me if it works.

P.S. It's not permanent and you have to do everything again when you close rpcs3.exe

Happy playing!

Hi, I have a problem. After the fight with the first boss of 5th Palace, I went down the elevator. After that, the game seems stuck. The music still plays, but the controls won't work. What should I do? Thanks in advance

That's not really a save thing to do a realtime priority thread can never be pre-empted by timer interrupts and runs at a higher priority than any other thread in the system. As such a CPU bound realtime priority thread can totally ruin a machine.

Besides this just means there is too much shit running in the background clocking cpu time on your machine close some of it and you don't even need to resort to dangerous "tweaks" like this and get the same result.

Delete the folder data to recompile the game and all modules. Not sure what triggers this bug, but recompiling has been reported to fix it.

I can confirm this, computer completely froze when I tried this. Didn't cause any permanent damage, but I'm NEVER doing it again.

For me, it's more placebo than real help. I'm looking forward to the new build, oriented to the person.

I tried it, but the game still freeze at that point. I have tried using different builds as well, but still won't work
