This might have been posted but i dont know, when i play without the launcher crisis core plays the opening intro sound, but when i use jcpsp with the launcher , there is no sound. the battle sounds are still there and all but no background music.
i might as well say this, is there something in the works more functional than sonicstage? something that can play all the sound and audio the game has to offer.
please reply.
PS: maybe it has something to do with the settings, the launcher that is.
make sure to use the 32bit version with the launcher since 64bit still doesnt support audio / video decoding

I still use windows xp sp3 32 bit, though.
why cant sonicstage play BGM of some games?
like bravestory.
they could be mono at3+ files, those aren't supported by sonicstage. or they could be some different format, using some as of yet unknown/unimplemented/unfinished parameters.
generate a log+profiler and post them for the devs if you want to know.

I'm pretty sure its related to the internal debug protection, something is trying to modify the process or has already modified it, The only way I'm able to reproduce it is if I run it under a program like sandboxie, that will trigger the exception, if I remove the check it will start-up fine, but then its at risk for people putting viruses in it or doing bad things so that is the only reason I keep the check.
the next version i might re-work the integrity checks but I'm not sure if they are actually working (it's supposed to crash when it detects something messing with it) or if something else that is triggering it.
