The Legend of Heroes - US - ULUS10022

Settings: "Use Media Engine" and "Decode with SonicStage"

Movie plays not so fluid, stuttering

The game works very good, music loops, saving and loading works, no visible graphical errors, only small problem is that the text has sometimes a faulty character (see pic, here it is the "h", other "h"'s on text that follows is normal again)

The text problem is mostly fixed by setting the message speed to fast.

[X] Use shaders
[X] Enable dynamic shader generation
[X] Disable optimized VertexInfo reading

The movie plays at normal speed. In-sync with the music.

The text error is still present. The text error is also present when using the fast message option. To me, it seems like it is not so often when using the fast message option but I could be wrong.

Yes, it doesn't happen as often as with the other message speeds, but it's still present.

Thanks for verifying this also happens on a Nvidia card. I already thought it might be a AMD-only feature! WinkBig Grin

just curious are you using internal jpcsp fonts or are you using psp fonts, I can't seem to reproduce the font text issue.

I'll test alittle more to see if anything new shows up.

Hi Hyakki,

I'm using the internal fonts. Screen size at 1x. And the error shows in the intro scene at least a dozen times or more.

A lot of games have font problems with jpcsp fonts. You should use fonts from psp.

I'll have to dust off the poor thing, but seeing hyakki's screenshot that's probably the reason.
