Even getting past the first mission, I am having input lag on the game, which makes it pretty much unplayable since it is a music and timing based game.
Using a keyboard, or even using a PS3 controller there is always around a half a second of lag from when the button is pressed to when it registers in the game itself.

So if the drums are being hit for, Pata ...... Pata ...... Pata ...... Pon. For the Pon to register at the correct time I have to actually hit it RIGHT after the third Pata. And this is just at the start when trying to only do a correctly timed pon. Later on when doing Pata, and other buttons in time with the actual music its very difficult.
Pressing like this: Pata ...... Pata ...... Pata .Pon.....
Registers like this: Pata ...... Pata ...... Pata ...... Pon

The game itself never drops below 30fps, and I have no performance issues. Its only input lag that is the problem. Does anyone have any clue how to deal with this ?
The same issue is actually present in ppsspp as well.

Whenever i extract attracplug.dll from Sound Forge (yes, it is 9.0e Build 441) i always get a atrac3plus2wav.exe crash window (generic "send/don't send" window) everytime a sound is played in the emulator. I can press don't send and it will continue until the next sound and shows the crash window again. SonicStage is installed, both "Media Engine" and "decode audio files with SonicStage" are turned on in the options and yet the emulation stops at the loading screen after the first mission with the same messages in the cmd window:

I tried searching around for the working files and found ones that don't cause decoder crashes. The game is playing sounds i haven't heard without this decoder. And yet again, once the mission ends, i still get stuck at the same loading screen with exactly the same messages in the cmd window. One thing i noticed is that it starts to play the victory song, but stops abruptly.
If anyone could point me where i could have made a mistake i'd be very thankful.
