But look at this. I can someone tell me why this looks different from mine. I cant be my graphics card cuss i've seen others with the same glowing effect as well...maybe java has something to do with it.

That pic you posted (with glowing effect) is from the first mission(train station). While i played on Jpcsp Zack looked totally the same, but only there,at train station.Later during the game,he appears totally normal, like on that second pic (Wutai siege)

Okay. So I dowloaded the rev1537 and I followed the instructions in the crisis core thread exactly. Still the controls are not working. Is it because the emulator only works for the US version? I have the Japanese version.

Aren't they just adorable??!!?? Notice the tremendous amount of glow on Aeris.

P.S You better be grateful for these shots, I had to sit through a long slow motion cutscene to get them. That reminds me, it would be a good idea to put a disable shadows option. It might free some FPS like in many games.

Damn man,has Aerith eaten a whole barrel of Uranium or some other radioactive element or what?Big Grin
Strange,in my case, she's not glowing like that :S
You're right about the shadows. If there was a way to disable them,it would get a mayor fps boost Sleepy
Anti-Aliasing also.:S

Okay everyone, I have a new problem for you all ( not really). I cant seem to turn on shaders without getting that invisible npc thing. Can someone tell me what im doing wrong. My settings are the exact same on the first page using rev 1537 and media engine...and shaders on.

It is a common bug :S
It happens to me every time i load the game with shaders turned on,but never on New game.Hopefully it will be fixed soon :S or there might be something wrong with our PC's ...

RE: CRISIS CORE:FINAL FANTASY VII - ULUS10336 - shakirmole - 06-05-2010

actually the glow effect comes if u dont have shaders switched on... (i had tht issue before)
the other issue about the invisible npc, try maximizing yer screen and see what u can well, see

Yes, those graphical bugs can occur frequently, and the glow is a result of not using the shaders (we have some additional light processing occuring there). Fortunately, we're already working on several solutions to improve our graphics processing.
Orphis has some great ideas for the shaders and gid is already working on improving display speed.
So, expect some major work soon. Big Grin
