hyakki, I see what you mean. OpenMG isn't that catastrophic for me either, especially now that I was able to detach it and avoid SS. However, it's Windows only. Updating your tool would allow to do conversion in VM with Windows and converted files could be transferred back for use on other platforms. This would probably be the only way to get full experience there. If you would have some free time please consider it. I think now that SonyWavWriter.ax thing is pretty much solved there's no need to pay attention to it anymore.
