Unknown Error here (to me.) - KurokiKazeFFU - 07-14-2013

okay, using the bot JPCSP thing, and the error i get is this:

Running Jpcsp 32bit...
log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (emu).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
at jpcsp.settings.Settings.getProperty(Settings.java:199)
at jpcsp.settings.Settings.readString(Settings.java:318)
at jpcsp.settings.Settings.readString(Settings.java:314)
at jpcsp.MainGUI.main(MainGUI.java:2728)
Press any key to continue . . .

any ideas of what's going on? i have no clue, unless it's mad i don't have a UMD image or something in a folder.

Where did you download JPCSP? If you didn't download it from http://buildbot.orphis.net/jpcsp/ go to this link, download it, and try to load JPCSP. If it doesn't work, you might have to download the JPCSP Launcher from http://www.emunewz.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=977 since there are problems with how your computer has installed Java.

i got it from that very link, and no luck. jpcsp launcher is also getting same errors once i've set things up properly =/ which is weird as hell.

I have notice that several programs that use Java works with that log4j; try installing latest Java 7.

RE: Unknown Error here (to me.) - KurokiKazeFFU - 07-15-2013

i've updated Java Runtime enviroment to latest there is, still get the same errors =/ unless the error lies within settings of the log4j that conflicts with jpcsp, i'm kinda stuck in this case.

EDIT: i've been looking at the people with same problems with other programs, and here is an.. interesting solution, one i probably cannot do due to my lack of coding experience: https://forums.oracle.com/thread/729071 don't know if it'd work for my case but yeah.
