A few character models wont completely load their models though. I'm actually trying to get this game to look better it still looks bleh even with x16 I'm a noob here can anyone help me graphics wise? I want to get the most out of this emulator. Just in case you're curious my pc specs are Intel Core i7-3770K 3.50GHz 8gb ram Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 RE: DISSIDIA 012 [duodecim] FINAL FANTASY - ULUS10566 [Encrypted] - phantasmyk - 11-20-2012 How low should i try making the heap size? found an option in the launcher RE: DISSIDIA 012 [duodecim] FINAL FANTASY - ULUS10566 [Encrypted] - VongolaUndici - 11-23-2012 I also have the out of memory problem after about 10 mins of gameplay, anyway to fix it. If so please explain. RE: DISSIDIA 012 [duodecim] FINAL FANTASY - ULUS10566 [Encrypted] - Taroyoma - 11-24-2012 I got a Big Speed Boost by Enabling some Shader Stuff (see in attachment) after trying some stuff i posted above somewhere i tested the new Beta Catalyst 12.11 with my normal settings, but it was strangely Slower than before. In-Game i tried something Different this time, like activating High Experience Stuff and then BAM, it was very fast and looked Great, no Artifacts so far and quite faster than before. So the no-HP-Attack Bug (or the Only HP-Attack animation by tifa) is NOT Gone but if i got the Bug i CAN Use her Branching Attack to finish off the Foe (Chase HP Attack works too). But as Always the Real No-HP Attack will block that Branching Hp-Attack too (Also you must kill the foe with a Chase HP Attack). I did not try those Stuff in Story cause i beat the First half and the next Party i should use are not my Favorites... (but i suppose the Settings will work great in Story too). i use JPCSP r2871 x64 I did not Change much of the System Profile Options also only those -XMS Size: 2048 -XX:ResCodeCashSize: 1024 -XX:MaxPermSize: 1024 RE: DISSIDIA 012 [duodecim] FINAL FANTASY - ULUS10566 [Encrypted] - Finzy - 11-24-2012 Another video I made in Jpcsp r2667 which I still think is the best revision for playing this game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idZCjEedSAY&feature=plcp If you guys want to get rid of the HP attack bug I'd suggest trying out r2667, I don't get it there. In fact I even managed to beat Feral Chaos on my storymode playthrough recently (with like 1,5 hrs of consistent hp attacks) so that ought to prove it works. Sorry for the slowdown on the vid, normally that level runs near full speed for me but Fraps takes away half of my FPS and my CPU isn't that great. Still pretty playable considering my computer is nowhere near top of the line and just a mediocre laptop. If you have out of memory issues (but enough RAM), then try the settings I've put in the video description. I've never run out of memory while playing with these settings (though I suppose it's still possible if you play really long). You can fix the texture bugs on the characters nearly always by just restarting the fight. RE: DISSIDIA 012 [duodecim] FINAL FANTASY - ULUS10566 [Encrypted] - Taroyoma - 11-25-2012 Cause of Finzy i created a Video too, to show the "Only HP Animations Bug of Tifa" and how different this Game looks after those Shader Stuff settings in the revision 2871. You will notice after i got hit by the Assisted Attack i was not able to use my Feint attacks (i tried to spam them as much as possible). Maybe if some developer sees this Video that Bug could be solved? /Edit Great News After i changed Maximum Method Size from 500 to 50 and XMS Size from 128 to 256 i did not get any HP Attack Bugs (so far), maybe its gone or it will come back in an longer fight? (we will see). /Edit 2 The "HP-Attack Disable Bug" still occurs.... But i can Feint my Attacks as i wish (i tried that while fighting as Tifa vs Friendcard Tifa), the HP Attack gets disabled after fighting for a while-.- RE: DISSIDIA 012 [duodecim] FINAL FANTASY - ULUS10566 [Encrypted] - hyakki - 12-15-2012 r2929 3 logs one with shaders on, one with shaders off, and software, maybe provide some insight to why more textures are working with shaders off (though still missing some hair textures, strangely with shaders off it even better then software mode) ), Log_r2929(64bit)_shader.zip (Size: 142.18 KB / Downloads: 109) Log_r2929(64bit)_noshader.zip (Size: 139.49 KB / Downloads: 105) Log_r2929(64bit)_software.zip (Size: 129.91 KB / Downloads: 98) RE: DISSIDIA 012 [duodecim] FINAL FANTASY - ULUS10566 [Encrypted] - joxof - 12-16-2012 by the way, I don't know why opengl lighting look darker & clamped... |
