Thanks for the update, what build of JPCSP are you using? What are your system specs?
I tried it with the most recent version 2239, and it ran moderately well on Windows XP up until the first battle. Certain parts of the screen started to freeze up or unfreeze randomly, it was playable but very annoying.
I`m using
2239 build with this configuration:
Video:
Use Vertex Cache
Enable saving GE screen to textures instead of Memory
Enable dynamic shader generation (AMD/ATI)
Memory:
Ignore invalid memory access
Media:
Use Media Engine
Compiler:
Use compiler dynarec
(500) Maximum method size
My system specs:
Mother: Asus M2N68-AM SE2
Micro: Phenom II X2 555 BE
Mems: OZC Gold 2 x 2gb 800MHz Cas 5
VGA: Nvidia eVGA GTX460 EE

Still the same problem... the Castle
I am wondering, since my big brother has my PSP >.< Will the AMD fix work for the text? Big brother isn't here, so I can't retrieve my PSP, but I REALLY wanna play this!
But would installing a previous catalyst version help at all with the text issues?
Now I see why my brother hated this forum.
Have someone discovery the solution to pass the Almorica castle problem?
