Do I have to run Sonicstage while I'm playing? Or what else could be the reason why "Decode with Sonicstage" don't work. Like Kai3213 said it has to do with my Win7. I am able to listen to the extracted sound files in the "tmp" with Sonicstage but they don't appear in the game -.-

Can be easily fixed by changing the following in your "start.bat":
-XX:MaxPermSize=64m TO -XX:MaxPermSize=128m

I've tried 96m first, but the PermGen error occured again after playing another game for a while and let it idle while gone doing "daily business".
I really don't know why gid15 came up with the latest setting of -XX:MaxPermSize=64m, because it does not make much sense when -XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize is set to 64m, too. (sorry gid15).

This actually works, if you're playing with terra, are in deep space and can get past the first fight but can't save this will solve the problem if you're using version 2163. Right click the batch file that you start jpcsp with and follow the instructions above. Dont forget in the config to enable: ignore invalid memory, use media engine, decode audio files with sonic stage, use non native font from flash0folder. It should work fine, thanks!

Or you could just use hyakki's launcher 1.5.0.6 which automatically sets those values by default.

But it doesn't run on everyones rig, unfortunatley. I myself get a stack error when trying to run it under Win7 Home Premium 64Bit.
Wow, it's been a while since I tried playing BBS, but I'm going to have to congratulate the devs. Four major improvements that I see.

1: Terra can do Deep Space!!! Big Grin Yaaaahhhhh.

2: Command board works now Big Grin

3: Reports are viewable.

4: When I do Data Install, it works! (well, sort of. The Install works [goes many times faster than on a real psp], but it says it can't load the install data, and has to install from the UMD, but I like watching them march from 0% to 100% Big Grin ) Also, if it could read from the Install Data, would the game run any faster?
No it wouldn't. The reason for psp install data is to stop the umd from needing to be read so you kinda get everything fastest since you psp doesn't have to read the umd since some of the data is just right there for it to read. Since jpcsp doesn't need to read a disk and all the data is already there(just in iso format) there's no need for data install because its running as fast as it would be with it anyway. It would only speed up loading times and as far as I can tell there are any loading screen slow downs unless its decoding audio.

Oh I meant to ask how to did you guys get past the escort mission at the castle of dreams? She just runs into a wall.

LOL Big Grin so I'm not the only person with that problem Big Grin Okay, try to stay AHEAD of Cinderella for as long as possible, taking out any unversed. When you get to the split/fork in the road, wait for her to choos which way she is going to go (left or right). If she goes left, hurry up that way and defeat the unversed, same for the right. After you defeat those unversed, continue to stay ahead of Cinderella, however, stay BETWEEN her and the wall (the wall that is: when you get to the split, and you go left, then you turn right again. There is a wall directly ahead. If you turn right, then you have to turn left to see the wall dead ahead). If you stay between her and the wall, then she should start to turn a little bit. Continue to stay between until she is fully turned the right direction, and you can start going up the next flight of stairs.

Hope this helps Big Grin If not, I should consider putting up a YouTube video...
Yeah beat that part was a pain, i think you have to mark only GE for this part, and since if i dunno the level of you game..., if its on proud there will be a lot of unversed, making it hard to stay all the way ahead of her, but that's the trick apparently, i would never think that staying near that wall would prevent that, lol

i'm only running into a lot of random memory related crashes, aside from that...,only the black thing when you play on x2 screen Smile

if those are solved we can be putting this on playable very soon

i will try the new rev to see if the memory crashes has stoped
I just read the commit log [Updated the CryptoEngine with new keys (up to firmware 6.39)] . I've tried to play Kingdom Hearts BBS Final Mix which needs fw 6.31 but it does not work "critical error".
weird mine works just fine

Edit: oh my game is not the final mix Wink
