Hello, members of emunuwz.net.
I'm trying to play a game on jpcsp and whenever I try to load it, a window pops up saying critical error. I can post everything that was stated in the cmd.exe log but these two lines stuck out to me the most and I figured I would just put those two first and if any more information is necessary I will add that. java.io.IOException: Map failed Caused by: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Map failed I'm using Jpcsp v.0.6 2298 x86 for Windows and it was downloaded directly from Jcpsp.org. My operating system is Windows Vista Home Basic version, 32 bit. I have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core Processor 3800+ running at 2.01GHz I have 3.0 GB of RAM that was recently installed. I have NVIDA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 that with drivers updated. 228 GB HDD Space with 158 GB currently free. I have updated to the latest Java software (Version 6, update 27). All files are located on my desktop. These are my current settings on JPCSP. |Video| [x] Only GE graphhics (not recommended for homebrew) [-] Use vertex cache [X] Use shaders (experimental) [X] Use a Geometry Shader for 2D rendering (only relevant when using shaders) [-] Disable UBO (automatically disabled if not supported, only relevant when using shaders) [X] Enable VAO (only relevant when using shaders and vertex cache) [x] Enable saving GE screen to Textures instead of Memory [X] Enable decoding of indexed textures (using CLUT) in shader (only relevant when using shaders) [X] Enable dynamic shader generation (only relevant when using shaders rec for AMD/ATI) |Media| [x] Use Media Engine (Works only with 32bit JPCSP) [-] Extract media files to tmp folder [x] Decode audio files with sonic stage (you must have ss installed for this to work) [x] Use non-native fonts from flash0 folder |Compiler| [x] Use compiler (dynarec) [-] Output profiler into to profiler.txt (only for compiler) [1000] Maximum method size Could anyone please help me figure out why I'm getting an error? Thank you in advance. |
