Well, since a while some users with Windows 8 have been reporting same error.

Could help to the community if you post a Info Log so it can be checked (Instructions here: http://www.emunewz.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=70898); however, it looks like the problem came with W8.

Change the xmxsize in the bat to 768 instead of 1024,maybe it will work

Montcer,doesn't this error sound familiar?

then try 512,or be sure to have activated the 32 bit mode in your video card control panel.Really weird problem I say. What's your opengl version,in the log it is not specified

I founded the way!.
That's right. There was no Opengl version Tongue
The problem besides on Windows 8 Amd support. Amd/Ati drivers doesn't specify wich driver use on opengl.
There are 2 ways to solve it.
1st: Works on intel too
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1264...-8-opengl/
2nd: Only for AMD (this one doesn't worked for me)
http://www.withinwindows.com/2012/03/18/...windows-8/

Hope it be helpful for others

According to this, will help other users place a warning on JPCSP batch in case Windows 8 is detected.

Translation:
Well I thought it would be the same as windows XP,because I had 7 and there was no error but in XP the java Heap error appeared,so I thought it could be the same problem.I figured that in the log where its says the opengl version appears null,it didn't detect it or the video card hasn't
