"New" found thing in DAXZISO
#1
I don't know if this is entirely new... anyways I made this thread on the original forum. So one could call this a "Copy" and "Paste" thread. I was simply thinking "Hey, appearantly they have moved, I'll check and see if I get a response here instead".

So I've been playing around a bit more with the JPCSP (now with the new release as well). In previous attempts with the DAXZISO and my other attempts the JPCSP has given me a:

"fatms:\directory" not found

So I thought "Hmm, how about creating a fatms directory in the "jpcsp0.5win(rev1379)" directory? And it worked!! Earlier nothing happened. I got a black screen (as you can see in my previous post right here.

Now I get this instead:

There is another version as well, and that's by making a copy. Taking the DAXZISO directory and copying it, having one in the FATMS folder and one in the MSO folder, though they I get the black screen (but the log is different):

Don't know if this is of any help. But the "fatms" folder does seem to be something that could be handy to experiment with no?

EDIT: It appears that when I have the "loadprx.prx" file in the "MSO:\DAXZISO" folder I get a:
"321522 [load_prx] ERROR hle - Unmapped import @ 0x089B7BC0 - 09f7bad0 089b7f44 00000008" error. Without it Scenario 1 (first picture in the post) occurs. So I believe if one could modify the "loadprx.prx" file to function properly with the emulator this could be fixed no?

fatms is a alias name for ms0 that was used for up to firmware 2.0

what exactly is that iso? and what it does? maybe i can do a debug on it...

It's a homebrew for loading games in Dark Alex .DAX format.
