Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection - ULUS10560
The performance of the game is great with the lastest version, except for for the Boss transition, wich is still extremly slow.
But atleast everything displays properly, no missing elements nor invisible text and the fight screen has no more errors.

The only special thing I can find in this profile is the use of indexed vertices:

GU_TEXTURE_32BITF|GU_NORMAL_32BITF|GU_VERTEX_32BITF|GU_INDEX_8BIT|GU_TRANSFORM_3D size=32: used 224556 times in PRIM, average 33.0 per GE list

Indexed vertices are still computed on the CPU, they are not yet resolved by the GPU. I should add native OpenGL support for indexed vertices... this might help here.
Indexed vertices are now implemented using native OpenGL call. Does r2877 improve the performance of the "boss transition"?
Always include a complete log file at INFO level in your reports. Thanks! How to post a log

Unfortunately it doesnt seem to help, I still get 8-10 fps.
I attached the log and profiler ( in profiler still low number in "per GE list" if that has anything to do with anything ) Smile

I get about 10fps on the boss transition (at 2x window size), looking at my GPU usage the scene is using about 96% of my GPU core, at 1x resize it uses about 50% of GPU core but speed is about the same 9~10fps.

For me,speed is not the same.
If I run jpcsp with at 1x window size, I get 15 fps.
If I run at fullscreen, I get 8-10 fps.

Made a video, this is at 2x window size with logging and profiler off (to make sure i get maximum speed)

Some notable things
1. I noticed some sound effects are missing, for example when the summon casts earthquake when the battle fades out you can hear where the sfx gets cut off to soon.
2. The boss transition (this doesn't bother me so much, since its fast enough now)
3. The summon lightning effect (this one is trouble-sum since the audio doesn't sync so looks like there is no audio, but really i think the audio it playing normal speed and the graphics are to slow)

What options are you using? I still have a extremly low fps for the boss transition.

videos are now playing a little better, but have some slight audio skipping on longer videos near the middle of the video (video doesn't seem to flicker anymore though so thats an improvement) Smile
(videos appears to be played at 29fps)

Hi everyone!

Need help.

I download FFIV Complete Collectoin ISOs from two different sites, one labeled ULUS and the other is USA, and in the thread where they're posted they both say that it's the US release, but when i play it in JPCSP they're both in japanese.

Is there somekind of patching that I need to do, or those links i downloaded from are just fucking with me? (sorry for the F word hehe).

Appreciate your replies. Thanks!

There are two things I have to say to you. First, you're a noob. Second, we don't support PIRACY here.
