Dai-2-Ji Super Robot Taisen Z Hakai-hen - ULJS00379
Not much you can do except to upgrade your hardware.

I recently upgraded to r2168 with the hope the text outlines may be fixed. I was wrong, but the game does seem to feel faster and maybe it is a placebo, but it feels like it looks better also. The big thing though is those crushing 1 FPS slowdowns during menus seem to have significantly decreased. The bad news is that the colored areas showing where you can move and attack no longer appear... I have tried many different options and nothing brought them back.

Anyone else have similar results?

To show the colored valid moving range in r2168 , you should turn on the
option: "Enable the shader implementation for the "Stencil Test"
But the menu will be blur with several overlapped afterimage.

I use the older R2163 , although the color of text is not as clean as r2168 , but the FPS is good and every thing , include the colored area of valid moving range is correct.

ps. turns on video option:
Only GE graphics
Use shaders
Disable UBO
Enable saving GE screen to Textures instead of Memory
Enable Dynamic shader generation.

Could you try again with r2187 and post a log file at INFO level, with screenshots showing the display problems?

Thanks!

Here you go. Similar settings to ETK with the exception that I also had Color Mask enabled. The other problems include FPS slowdown during menus and voice files (AT3) not being played. In regards to the latter I can hear the voices when I decrypt the files with my PSP but it doesn't sound "right" - the voices sound very low and out of tune for some reason when used in JPCSP.

Jpcsp r2188

if VGA ATI, setting Video:
1.Use shaders + Enable the shader implementation for the "Stencil Test" on pic1 graphic issue, but on pic2 moving range visible.
2.Use shaders + Enable the shader implementation for the "Stencil Test" + Disable UBO on main menu at battle graphic issue(pic3), on main menu same at pic1 & moving range visible.
3.Enable the shader implementation for the "Stencil Test" at main menu & main menu at battle normal only problem is moving range not visible.

log1 => setting Video 1
log2 => setting Video 2
log3 => setting Video 3

haven't tried it with ATI Catalyst Drivers 11.6
