Pretty much wasted a lot of time figuring out why things couldn't work, after looking at the logfile, I saw that my resolution was in 16 bit color mode, and finally got it to work when I changed it to 32 bits.

CPU: 2500k
GPU : Nvidia 560 TI

Doesn't make sense that I wasn't able to run pcsx2. So yeah. Hopefully this helps others.
