works with Media engine enabled but movies are jumpy

All in all it works well and is playable but there are some graphic bugs. Saving and loading works, speed is OK, only sound effects are working

Most of the graphic errors are now gone and it looks really good now, only some small distortions during scene changes are left

Almost perfect. The scene changes are now much better, mini-map is visible, at the tutorial you have to wait a bit longer than normal, there is a new error with where there is a invalid memory error in the memcopy function. If you set "Ignore invalid memory" it works without a problem. Oh, and the problems with the text are finally gone. Big Grin

Easy, re-rip your UMD again and do not apply the Prometheus patch

Usually, the new PSP games come with an encryption; the idea behind the encryption (to be vague) is for security/protection purposes. JPCSP cannot emulate said games, therefore, you need to decrpyt these games with an actual PSP. I believe the process is changing the file's EBOOT.bin file and then re-packaging it, making it readable by the emulator (decrypted).

Now, as for Prometheus, it sounds like a tool to override the encryption? Or an alternative way of decryption? Regardless, I was reading what someone else said about it in another thread on this forum and I believe that it conflicts with JPCSP. Upon decrpytion, Prometheus probably adds an extra file to the .iso file thus making it un-readable by the emulator. Long story short, isos tinkered with Prometheus, most likely will not be able to run on JPCSP.

Correct! If you don't own the game it's piracy. If you own the game ('own' here means you go in a store and buy the game for real not download it from the internet!) but you don't own a PSP you still have a problem in decrypting the eboot.bin.

How'd you rip it in the first place? If you didn't then you probably got it via internet to "back up" your said game and the iso had been patched with the Prometheus thingy.
Funny thing, I spend more time on the forum instead of on emulators Tongue
