I'm french and i have a question about games
#1
Question
I everyone ! I'm french so .. I have some difficulty to understand complety your language (if you can speak my language, it may be great).

I saw on your website "jpcsp.org" some games that i loved ! (For exemple Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core).

But the news realase arrived late. (Every 3 month).

So, my question is "What game does work exactly ?"

Final Fantasy VII : Crisis core -> Does it work ? If it doesn't work, the project continue again ?

Kingdom Hearts : Birth By Sleep work ? I have reading a thread about this in this forum.

What game does work ? Do you have a complete list for me ?

I'm sorry for my thread but i'm lost in this big forum.

Thank's for the response about this.

Salutation from a French member !

Hello Serial_Watcher,

1. Yes, Final Fantasy: Crisis Core currently working, discussion thread about this game here.
2. I don't have this game, but unfortunately it has moderate protection, and get it working on JPCSP i think will difficult.
3. Compatibility list you can find here - part 1, part 2.

Download latest JPCSP SVN revisions here.

Thank's a lot BlackDaemon Smile ! But in your list a see a "serial code", it's for game US or some european game work (With french language in option) like Dissidia : Final Fantasy ?

Merci Smile !

Serial_Watcher, as far i can understood you, (unfortunately my English is not good Tongue) you talking about different games region with different status on Compatibility list.

Since different people test these games on different JPCSP revisions there is good chance to get game with another region working. (if game with USA region was working in latest JPCSP revision, for example)

And some additional info for you about games Status on compatibility list:

Encrypted -> if you want to load this game on JPCSP you must decrypt eboot.bin (loader) on real psp with CFW (custom firmware).
Loadable (similar to "Nothing" status on PCSX2) -> this game shows nothing, e.t. "black screen".
Shows Intros (similar to "Intro" status on PCSX2) -> this game shows first screens, videos, loading screen and maybe Menus.
Half-Playable (similar to "Ingame" status on PCSX2) -> you can begin "new game", but it can freeze, has graphics bugs, e.t.c...
Playable -> game working, and probably it's possible to complete this game.

I understand.
I mean by "serial code", this code for exemple : " ULUS10241 " . What does it use ?

If i play to Dissidia with another code, what's going on ?

PS : My english is not to bad ? I have juste difficulty with sentences and find the good word.

Actually, your English is quite understandable. Smile
That code "ULUS10241" represents the game's region (like PAL or NTSC for TV).
For example, ULUS means it's the USA version, ULJM is a Japanese version and ULES is a European version.
Some games don't have differences between regions, but others have. "Dissdia", for instance, it's not encrypted in the japanese region, but all the other versions are.

En fait, votre Anglais est trés compréhensible. Smile
