Booting VSH in Jpcsp
Hi Jpcsp community!

with the last commits, Jpcsp is now able to boot the official PSP VSH interface. The menus are not yet working properly, it is currently only an alpha release. I continue to work on it Smile.

Attached is a screenshot showing it in x2 resolution.

To try it by yourself, you will need to copy some files from a PSARDUMP on your real PSP:
Code:
flash0/kd/mgr.prx
flash0/kd/mgvideo.prx
flash0/kd/mlnbridge.prx
flash0/kd/mlnbridge_msapp.prx
flash0/kd/mp4msv.prx
flash0/kd/np.prx
flash0/kd/np_auth.prx
flash0/kd/np_campaign.prx
flash0/kd/np_commerce2.prx
flash0/kd/np_commerce2_regcam.prx
flash0/kd/np_commerce2_store.prx
flash0/kd/np_core.prx
flash0/kd/np_inst.prx
flash0/kd/np_matching2.prx
flash0/kd/np_service.prx
flash0/kd/vshbridge.prx
flash0/codepage/cptbl.dat
flash0/vsh/etc/*
flash0/vsh/module/*
flash0/vsh/resource/*
and start Jpcsp by adding the command line option "--vsh" (edit start-windows-amd64.bat and add "--vsh" at the end of the line starting with "%JAVA_CMD%").

RE: Booting VSH in Jpcsp
Do you get an error message when you start JPCSP with those files (memlmd_09g.prx & mesg_led_09g.prx) in the kd directory or is the emulator not opening when you click on the .bat file after you added --vsh into the file?

I don't know yet which call is enabling the menu, it was just there by chance Wink.
There was a registry entry named "/TOOL/CONFIG/np_debug" but it doesn't control this menu entry...

The name displayed there is retrieved from your network configuration, but it has no real impact. It is just to display a meaningful name instead of "Dummy SSID"...

I will need to apply the same patches as CFW to enable running unsigned PRX's (i.e. homebrews) from the VSH. It currently acts like a normal PSP without CFW.
What does the message from the official DEMO say?

If you take the output of PSARDUMP, you will have all variants of "mesg_led_XXg.prx".

Starting with ee50860, some homebrews can be started from the VSH, but not of them are working yet...
