Getting LBP to run [Attempting]
#1
ps3

Alright so I'm trying to get LBP to work, there have been a few posts recently about this. so far the furthest anyone has gotten is to the loading screen, which I have also managed to do. Using these libraries (libaacenc.prx, libaacenc_spurs.prx, libac3dec.prx, libac3dec2.prx, libad_async.prx, libad_billboard_util.prx)
All interpreters set to fast and using DX12. Here is as far as I get :

it always crashes on the last frame so ya. here is the log I get. http://pastebin.com/CAf153z8

No idea really when it comes to this stuff, so if any of you could try to get it to get any further or get the loading screen ungarbled that would be awesome! Thanks all!

Don't LLE those libs you referred

Do libsre, libspurs_jq, librtc, libresc and try adding libhttp later to see if it works
Desktop: Ryzen 7 5800X, Radeon RX 6800 XT, 2x8G 3600MHz, Manjaro Linux
Laptop: Intel i7 6700HQ, Intel HD 530, 2x8G 2133MHz, Manjaro Linux
Old Desktop: FX-8350, R9 280X, 2x4G 1600MHz, Manjaro Linux

Results using those Libs (excluding libresc and libhttp)
not crashing anymore, but it wont get to the loading screen its just black.

EDIT : [Image: b03c29a6421adf4bf4732ba124f95e51.png]
must have just had bad luck the other time its launching as it did before now, no improvements unfortunately. however i still dont have libresc or libhttp so when I get those (would appreciate some help with that btw) i will try again.

EDIT: Jeez another edit! Okay so I got libresc and tried it with that. this was result http://pastebin.com/Z7VB4Zes ( I also got 1 frame further in the loading screen before it crashed lol )
I tried using libhttp also and it just refused to start

EDIT: using precise interpreters doesnt get quite as far

EDIT :
Using hook static functions this was the result

( a few frames further maybe 1 or 2 ) [using hook static functions]
Here is lé log! http://pastebin.com/7ZqqK3qE

All of the things about getting a few frames further are probably just random but I'm being really optimistic here haha

UPDATE! : Something of interest!!!! I changed my system language from japanese to english and now it shows the health warnings, not sure if its just a thing where the health warnings dont show in japan (lol) but its cool
here is video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAUdmLNG...e=youtu.be

UPDATE2 : Got about 2 seconds further using these (libatxdec libfiber libjpgdec libl10n librtc libsail libspurs_jq libsre)

On a side note, does anybody know what causes LBP2 to crash instantly even though it worked a few months ago?

Why do you bump? You can't magically fix games, if you can't wait feel free to contribute to the project (if you know c++), if not then wait, devs are making a PS3 emulator, not a Little Big Planet emulator. :3

LBP is the only reason i want this emulator, im just thinking maybe theres a way we can get it past the errors. Huh

Yeah, that only happens when people actually work on a project. I personally suggest trying to fix things yourself, and then making a PR if you succeed
