Serious question: how long?
#1
Question
I know the answer is going to be "a long time from now" (or something to that effect), but can anyone give any sort of time estimate on when it might be reasonable to expect emulation compatibility on the level of, say Dolphin or PCSX2? If the answer to this question has been posted elsewhere, I was unable to find it. Apologies.

So yeah. Pretty self-explanatory, and I'm not trolling or anything. Just very curious about this project is all.

Thanks and good luck.

It heavily depends on the number of developers working on it.
I'd guess that not in the next couple of years, probably between 5-10 years by just taking in account other emulators' and RPCS3's own progress and ps3's complexity.
It's just pure speculation though.
