just as it says. the games still work if i click the skip button. any suggestions

Broken ever since quite a big rewrite back in october. There's issue #1263 for it.

It will be fixed when someone decides to fix it. Same goes for almost anything.
Basically, expect nothing to work and be happy when it does. And when you find something interesting weird, or encounter some problem, simply report it in the relevant thread, so developers can maybe take a look at it.

There's no point in adding DX11, as it's old and you'd likely never be able to run any games at full speed with it. It's also Windows only.
Vulkan is that I'd definitely like to see in the emulator, and if noone is willing to take the task before me, I'll try to eventually get Vulkan renderer up and running, but that won't be before I've played around with it in my other experimental program.

As you wrote before, game still work if you skip intro, so you can still test.
