Star Raiders [NPUB30420]
#1
Tested on recent master build. Show menus and stuck on loading screen after starting new game. Requires libSre LLE'd. SPU sync warning disabled, because it makes log useless due to huge size.
Code:
SPU: W {SPU[0x12f] Thread (CellSpursKernel2)[0x0eac0]} process_mfc_cmd: Sync channel 'SYNC' ignored. (cmd=0xcc, lsa=0x0, ea=0x0, tag=0x15, size=0x0)
Code:
G: E {SPU[0x147] Thread (FMOD)[0x136c8]} Exception: Unknown STOP code: 0x0 (Out_MBox is empty)
(in file Emu\Cell\SPUThread.cpp:1418, in function SPUThread::stop_and_signal)

Re-tested this old entry using rpcs3-v0.0.3-2017-07-25-ff772dd2_win64 on an i7 4770K @ 3.5 GHz, GTX 1070, 16 GB DDR3 running Windows 10-64 with the following settings:

PPU decoder: Recompiler (LLVM)
SPU decoder: Recompiler (ASMJIT)
Load liblv2.sprx only
GPU settings: OpenGL; Vulkan @ 1280x720 w/ VSync, Frame limit set to 60
Audio settings: XAudio2
Input/Output: DualShock 4

First of all, as can be seen on the window borders in BlackDaemon's and my own screenshots, this is the demo version, so this thread and the compatibility list entry should probably be renamed.

As for the game itself, it goes ingame now and runs pretty well with a few graphical glitches, such as two large white bars near the bottom of the screen. Using OpenGL (screenshots 1-3), my FPS were in the range of 15-20 and the game felt really sluggish. With Vulkan however (screenshots 4-8), it felt like the game was running full speed at all times and I got a very stable 30 fps ingame.

Personally, I'd say it's at least ingame, even borderline playable. The graphical glitches are distracting but generally the game works and can be enjoyed at full speed (at least with Vulkan).

Quick update: Using the same settings as above, I gave it another try at 720x480 with Vulkan. Still a couple of graphical glitches but no more white bars (see screenshot #9) Big Grin
