Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost
#1
I love this game and I wish that it could be played on the emulator, so Il be posting any info about the errors and such.

I can unload the package into the emulator. Since the game only came out in Japan the name of the game is written in Japanese.

Here is the the log file of all the errors given while booting up the game with Default settings.

.txt   GundamExtremeVs.FullBoostErrorLogs.txt (Size: 2.71 KB / Downloads: 86)

I wish you god speed gentlemen and I would like to help anyway I can. Thanks.

Please post the full log and see how to report issues.
Such error/todo only logs are useless. If any modules are LLE'd, please also list them.

Thanks for the reply and sorry for the trouble. Here is the log file.

Sorry its a download. I had troubles uploading it as an attachment. I also tried every PPU and SPU Interpreter combination. Every time I launch the game I get a black screen. Like so.

If you compress the log file into a .zip or .rar, it should usually be able to attached as an attachment. You can also paste it to gist, pastie or pastebin, if it's small enough. There are also other better upload sites, such as mega.nz.

Also looking at the log, here's a couple suggestions:
1. Run the game using DirectX 12.
2. Set the frame limiter to "Auto"
3. Check with a PARAM.SFO editor, if the game supports 720x480 resolution, which you're currently using.
4. Enable LLE for cellSre and cellSpursJq.

It seems to run fine, and if you enable LLE and use DirectX 12, you might be even able to get an intro or two.

Thanks again for the reply. I cheked the PARAM.SFO file and yes, it runs at 720x480 as seen here.

I will though, need help with the LLE cellSre and cellSpursJq. I was not familiar with them. I checked and the search took me to CFW which is custom firmware. Will I need a PS3 to get the files that I'l need for the LLE or can I download what I need?

Also here is a pic of the error I get now WITHOUT the LLE cellSre and cellSpursJq.

So basically going from a lot of errors to just one I hope.

Again I thank you for helping me out and your hard work. Keep it up.

To legally obtain the required files for LLE, you'll need a PS3 with Custom Firmware (CFW) installed on it. You can install CFW on Official Firmware (OFW) 3.55 or below. If you're on a higher official firmware than that, you'll need to buy a hardware downgrader, open up the PS3, solder it to the NOR/NAND chip on the PS3 board, read the flash, modify it and re-flash it to an older firmware.
Please also remember, to hardware downgrade, you'll need an older PS3 that's able to be downgraded.
