The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC - NPUH10191 & NPUH10197
#1
This game was tested with revision 3eec9a5. The only problem with graphics is that during cutscenes, certain textures seem to stay in memory and appear randomly at the beginning or at the end of a cutscene. During cutscenes, the screen may occasionally flicker. The audio plays fine in this game while the log shows messages such as this during videos:
Code:
05:08:37  WARN atrac3plus - SOUND_THREAD - GHA Phase shifting
05:08:37  WARN atrac3plus - SOUND_THREAD - GHA Phase shifting
05:08:37  WARN atrac3plus - SOUND_THREAD - GHA Phase shifting
The game becomes unresponsive if a video is allowed to be played from start to finish. After the video ends, nothing can be triggered (no response to any buttons being pressed) to progress the game as the user sees a black screen.

This may be an interesting thing to note from the log:
Code:
04:56:47  WARN hle.IoFileMgrForUser - AR_THREAD - hleIoIoctl 0x0101000A unknown command, inlen=4, outlen=0
04:56:47  WARN hle.IoFileMgrForUser - AR_THREAD - hleIoIoctl indata[0]=0x000DAB29
04:56:47  INFO   stdout - AR_THREAD - !Err! sceIoIoctl ahead error 0xFFFFFFFF

The game was tested with revision b4b8d68 and any problems listed in my previous post still exist. One graphical issue I forgot to mention is that sometimes when attempting to load SAVEDATA from the Files section of the Menu, any loadable data may appear invisible.

I uploaded a video of the game on JPCSP with OpenGL (External Software Renderer doesn't have the cutscene display problems): http://tinyurl.com/p3vphqq
It's possible that the option "Enable saving GE screen to textures instead of memory" may be causing the cutscene display issues.

There seems to be another parameter that wasn't implemented yet in the log:
Code:
03:50:12  INFO hle.IoFileMgrForUser - AR_THREAD - hleIoIoctl cmd=0x0101000A length=0xDAB29
03:50:12  WARN hle.IoFileMgrForUser - AR_THREAD - hleIoIoctl 0x0101000B unknown command, inlen=0, outlen=0

I have attached images of the game being shown on the PSP and JPCSP (OpenGL & External Software Renderer). There are some graphical differences with how the game title (detailed vs slightly grainy) on the upper right is displayed on the Title Screen (1st (PSP) & 2nd (OpenGL) Screenshot) and how the words and lines of SAVEDATA are not in correct alignment and the size of the SAVEDATA is displayed incorrectly. There seems to be some missing screens with regards to sceUtilitySavedata mode=LISTDELETE (no screen being shown for confirming the deletion of SAVEDATA as referenced in another game).
