gpSP 0.9

Using revision bbf6500 allows me to progress further in the game Pokémon Emerald Version as I can make the character move around and get into battles. The speed for Pokémon Emerald Version in gpSP can range between 2-16 FPS depending on the action (at least 20+ FPS when viewing Town Map). JPCSP still crashes with this homebrew when the user closes the emulator. This can appear in the console window when it crashes in-game (mostly appears in battle) and the user has to close the emulator through Task Manager:
Code:
Exception in thread "user_main"
Exception: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError thrown from the UncaughtExceptionHandler in thread "user_main"
Other messages from crashes include:
Code:
Exception in thread "user_main"
Exception in thread "GUI"
Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0"
Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0"
Could you try to increase the memory allocated to the Java virtual machine?
E.g. edit the start script start-windows-amd64.bat and change the option "-Xmx1024m" to "-Xmx2048m". Would it help?
Always include a complete log file at INFO level in your reports. Thanks! How to post a log
