Hey there, I've just downloaded JPCSP v0.5 for 32bit, and I have a Tekken 6 ISO in the umdimages folder.
But when I choose Load UMD and open Tekken 6, an error appears saying "Critical Error: check console for more details". I copied the log when it happened. Here it is: 3728 [GUI] INFO misc - Jpcsp v0.5 3806 [GUI] INFO misc - UMD param.sfo : APP_VER = 01.00 BOOTABLE = 1 CATEGORY = UG DISC_ID = ULUS10466 DISC_NUMBER = 1 DISC_TOTAL = 1 DISC_VERSION = 1.00 HRKGMP_VER = 0 PARENTAL_LEVEL = 5 PSP_SYSTEM_VER = 5.50 REGION = 32768 TITLE = TEKKEN 6 USE_USB = 0 probably homebrew? false 4321 [GUI] INFO misc - Unrecognized file format 4321 [GUI] INFO misc - File magic 00 00 00 00 4524 [GUI] WARN misc - .shstrtab section not found 4586 [GUI] ERROR misc - ModuleInfo not found! 4586 [GUI] INFO misc - Found 0 imports from 0 modules 4586 [GUI] INFO misc - 0 NIDS mapped Please help fix my problem, thank you! |

RE: Tekken 6 - Critical Error
I would love to; but the problem is, I don't have a PSP. D:
I just copied an ISO straight from a PSP of a friend though. I've tried it on Jpcsp, but it still showed the same errors. Would a UMD file stand better than an ISO, though? |

RE: Tekken 6 - Critical Error
I am already using 1716. It shows the same problems, unfortunately. Does MagicISO or WinRAR affect the compatibility or something? I doubt that, since I've also tried untinstalling MagicISO and WinRAR.

RE: Tekken 6 - Critical Error
The problem is that this game has an encrypted boot module (EBOOT.BIN). You need to ask your friend to decrypt that file in his ISO and build a new image with the new file.
Here's a tutorial on the subject: http://www.jpcsp.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=7704 |

Sorry. ![]() I traced all the games that have this issue and I'm comparing their boot files' structure. Hopefully this will explain why this is happening.

RE: Tekken 6 - Critical Error
I think I found something. Could anyone please test this and any other games that have the same issue in r1720?

Code: 7625 [GUI] INFO misc - Jpcsp v0.5 1720... but goes not much further at the moment due to unimplemented functions. Evangelion: Battle Orchestra also loads and it looks like it's half-playable PC1: Athlon X2 4850e, 4 GB RAM, Radeon HD 3300 (onboard), OpenGL: 3.3.9901 Comp. Profile Cont., Windows XP SP3 32-bit PC2: Pentium 4 2,8 Ghz, 768 MB RAM, GeForce 6200, OpenGL: 2.1.2, Windows XP SP3 32-bit Primary tests on PC1 unless stated otherwise |
