There's no need to restore that option. I've removed it because the PSP uses it for a lot of GE related operations.
The goal now is to properly merge the display resizing with the viewport changes. The VideoEngine is starting to go through some important changes and cleanup, so, please, be just a little patient, and this issue will be fixed soon. Wink
