They are both good emulators, ppsspp wouldn't be near as good as it is now if jpcsp never existed a lot of the code was ported over to make ppsspp work as it does now, but that's whats nice about open source since you can learn from other projects and improve / port to other platforms.

Emulators aren't in a race or have something to prove both are great projects and each bring something new,
I enjoy using ppsspp on android , I use Jpcsp on windows, a lot of time and work has went into both projects, not to mention for free.
