Eiyuu Densetsu Sora no Kiseki FC Kai HD - JPN - NPJB00293 (pseudo-ULJM05170)
#4
Hey everyone,

I have tested the game on r3128 and it now looks much better. The title screen is still not right (all tested on 1x) but ingame it looks as it should be (at least at first glance).

But there are other problems which are mostly because Falcom kept the Disc-ID at ULJM05170):

- when playing the non-HD it creates a subfolder in the TMP dir where it stores the EBOOT.BIN (when Eboot-extract is on) and the OMA/WAV files. Of course the HD game uses the very same subfolder so you can expect problems there. For me, it tried to load the EBOOT.BIN of the non-HD and showed some error. Luckily I noticed the problem and I deleted the TMP subfolder and it worked.
- The is not really a problem but related: Because of the same ID it uses the newly created .patch file which activates the 64MB mode also for the non-HD version. I'm not sure if a problem arises if you use a non-64MB-mode game (non-HD) with the 64MB option. I haven't noticed a problem but I haven't tested it much.

- not a problem but more of a inconvenience: Right now the exdata folder has to be in the JPCSP main folder. This is not a very good place to put the files: 1) more games (probably SC HD and 3rd HD) will use the exdata feature and you have to rename the right folder to exdata manually. 2) Using a subfolder (f.e. ULJM05170-HD-exdata) in the UMD directory would be much nicer, JPCSP main folder would also be OK.

The ULJM05170-HD part could probably be hardcoded or maybe even better combine the Disc-ID with the firmware ID, this would give unique subfolders
