Since he had himself a nice $12,133 super computer, Intel Quad with 16GB of DDR3 Nvidia Quadro FX 4XXX something and 2 nice little Nvidia Tesla c1060s. It took him one month to crack the encryption. He is a Software DEV, Graphic designer, Animation specialist, hardcore scientist, and Hardware guru. He has hacked anything you can think of, aside from FBI, CIA, and Pentagon. I myself know it works because I played Crisis Core, which was way off the real FF VII story line, Dissidia, pretty intersting, and the brand new Monster Hunter. All are encrypted.

Don't ask for the decryption sequence. Its a waste of your time, you wont get it. It still takes about 10min to crack each time you start a game, so its kind of annoying.

FYI: I am not american and am having someone else translate for me. If there are any mistakes dont blame it on me.

Can someone explain what he is trying to prove or point out with this. Is he saying he knows someone who has decrpityed with a computer program because I know for a fact you can't and if you did then you don't have a psp. I wonder what that means. Oh and yes I reread this over and over.
I think what he's trying to say is that his sensei was able to crack the encryption using his "super" computer. He wouldn't announce to everyone that he managed to get a decrypted dissidia iso. He probably wants the dev team's attention to build some sort of decrypting program. Embrace your dreams beanclr. There is no can't in the world.

It would be imposible to get the shared key so easily. I don't think the DEV team would stand a chance at such a thing for the next 5-6 years. I was just remarking on how someone said that you can't, key word, crack this encryption. Decoding the header, again, took him over one month to do. All you have to do is know a bit about cryption in order to decrpyt the game.

Someone with knowledge please explain how a shared key works. He is using words I don't know in english.

edit:: please understand that I am summerizing what he is saying. If I said something wrong please tell me. I need practice.
EDIT::: He was further explaining that it is considered an encryption. And that people who say that they can crack it without a PSP are retards. It is nearly imposible to get the code to decode the headers.
edit:::: The DEV team will ignore this anyway. Doing something like that and distributing it is illegal. Hacking is educational and safe. It is a huge gray area. Don't acuse saying its wrong and that we have no life. We learn from doing this, not destroy.
