My game froze after the first two cutscenes (I did skipped both of them)
Can anyone help me?

Works a dream, though i do tend to get caught out with the cutscene skipping issue.

More importantly, i don't think the frame rate is quite playable for me, varying from 10 to 25 (but staying relatively low most of the time). Is that going to be improved over time?

I'm using:
R9 290x (x2 Crossfire)
Intel i7 7700k
16GB RAM

I hope that it gets improved over time. G-sync monitor helps a bit to make it look a bit better even if it's not any faster. On world map and in towns I have to rotate the camera so that's looking at my character from above. Getting faster movement perk on land and ship helps a bit too. I don't have to use any such tricks in combat and in dungeons where the field of view is usually very limited and FPS is decent.

EDIT: You can also try Vulkan/DX12 modes.. just tried Vulkan on world map and it's completely smooth with G-sync monitor. Too bad that they have multiple graphical issues/flickering.

Ni No Kuni PC @ RPCS3

OpenGL, performance is bad, but graphic is almost perfect.
At Vulcan performance is 2-3x better but there are many graphic problems. I hope it will be fixed soon.

There's some serious regression with OpenGL. Depth buffer has exploded with grass and possible with some other objects. Grass is always in front of objects even if it's not supposed to be. Trying to pinpoint the pull request which has caused it..

EDIT: https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3/issues/3165

Vulkan is working now. Still there are some small graphic bugs, but nothing game breaking. Performance boost is great.

Don't see the build on the downloads page did you compile it yourself?

Download link:

https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rpcs3/rp.../artifacts

Lastest version:

I found this by changing build number up to "Build not found or access denied." ;D
