I also decrypted the PUP file that was in an Update folder within the game folder, this of course led to a bunch of files, one being the update_files.tar
Upon extraction I found a bunch of PKG files which according to PS3tools aren't really PKG files.
If anyone has ideas or if the devs of RPCS3 wan't to help grace us with the beauty of Demon's souls running on PC, feel free to respond.

Don't expect it to go in-game in next 2-3 years, at least. For it actually to be playable in some form I'd suggest you to come back in ~5 years. Also there are 100s, if not 1000s of games, which crash with an access violation and which have been crashing with such an error, since they have been loadable.

PS3_UPDATE folder includes the files of minimum PS3 FW that needs to be installed to run the game. If your running on a lower version than the required FW version, those files will be used to update your PS3 system to the version that is required to play the game.
