You're right about the first two point but actually Ys 7 plays pretty well with JPCSP.
@deathmoon78: It's because the data files in the ISO are not where they should be. Ys7 (and most Falcom games) call the files through their sector number and this is where you get your problems. The only safe (and the only supported) way is to buy the game, rip it yourself and use this ISO.
