Is there a fix for the black backgrounded textures yet?
(Some of the Dimensional Monster effects, overworld mech head sprites)

Seems their alpha maps aren't working correctly...

FPS rates for mine (ATI Card):
Overworld - 100~
Battle Animations - 40~60
Menus (Intermission/Attack Select) - 10~

SonicStage BGM and Effects, No Voice
Video plays at start-up

Hi there everyone. I'm new to this forum, nice to meet you all.

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for doing their best to help us noobs out! Second, I did EXACTLY what was said on the first page of Dainiji SRW Taisen Z Hakaihen. Used the same build, clean ISO, but the game won't run at all despite having SonicStage installed. I also use the 32-bit versions of JRE and JPCSP.

My PC Specs are as follows:

Windows 7 Ultimate (Service Pack 1)
Intel® Core™ i7 CPU
AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
RAM 12 GB

Any help/guidance towards this matter would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

You have to elaborate on "Does not run".

Anyway you can try changing some settings on Catalyst Control Center if you're using an ATI.
I also run an ATI and found some settings that conflicted with JPCSP.

Disable Catalyst AI -> Enabling made my game run in Black and White.
Disable V-Sync -> Having it on clamps down the fps to 60.

What I meant, was that when I click on load ISO then click "RUN", it doesn't run. That's what I meant. As for the ATI Catalyst, here's what I got:

Anti-Aliasing: [X] Use application settings / Filter Edge-detect

Anisotropic Filtering: [X] Use application settings

Tessellation [X] AMD Optimized

Catalyst A.I.: Texture Filtering Quality [Slider is down to "Performance"]

Enable Surface Format Optimization [Disabled]

Wait for vertical refresh: "Quality - Always On"

Anti-Aliasing Mode: "Quality - Super-sample AA"

Triple Buffering: ON

NOTE: There is no "Deactivate Catalyst A.I." option... Unless it's hidden?

Thanks brother.

upgrading to the latest catalyst driver (11.8) degraded my game's performance with shaders.

I now have the CCC 10.8 and the game looks A-mazing.
The soft glows are showing now and it's especially looking good on Gundams and Macross and anything with beam weapons.

The alpha problem on Dimension Beasts is still a problem though.

13lade619, you can use catalyst driver 11.5.
don't use 11.6,11.7 & 11.8 because slow.

if you want game running smooth and nice. try install & play it on XP. i have tested it.
use ATI 10.10(for i use 10.10 because with latest driver not support XP. latest driver only on 7)
for me i install dual OS(XP 32bit & 7 64bit) so can try on both.

note: on XP you can't use Shaders, Only 7 that can use it

Yeah, I use Windows 7 Ultimate. However, SRW A Portable works pretty fine mind you, does that mean anything to you, dista_bagus? Thanks bro.
