straight away the game keeps pausing

goes ingame now
but after you win the round the game freezes up
can be moved to half-playable

using r 3365
i unticked Decode audio files with SonicStage and it got past the first stage
so it could be a sceAtrac3plus problem
here is a compiler log with these lines
<logger name='hle.sceAtrac3plus' > <level value='debug' /> </logger>
<logger name='compiler'> <level value='debug' /> </logger>

with these 2 lines added it got past the freeze at the end of the stage

after you win the round the game freezes up

r4389 seems to work fine and doesn't freeze after winning the first level (moving to playable)
