Progress on Savegame encryption - jeremymd - 09-17-2012

Last thread I read was a dev currently working on savegames so they're encrypted like the PSP so we can export/import them between the emu and PSP without any problems.

I recently tried that after finally having my PSP repaired. Unfortunately, save data still comes up corrupted in my PSP.

So.... wassup? Big Grin

Hykem was doing that but he must be somewhere in vacation. As you saw fornow you can only import a savedata from the psp but not on the psp

RE: Progress on Savegame encryption - jeremymd - 09-18-2012

I remember there's a savegame deemer for the psp, decrypts and lets the psp read unencrypted save games.

Are the jpcsp savegames encrypted in any way?

RE: Progress on Savegame encryption - Zekro - 09-18-2012

They are not encrypted, that's why the psp can't read them.Savegame deemer indeed decrypts a savegame but jpcsp can't do it the way savegame deemer does

Darn. You're right. Radically different ways of decryption.

Argh! I wanna play my 150+ hour jpcsp savegame on my PSP! Big Grin

I'm not sure but I think I remember someone did manage to find a way to do this...
