It pretty much comes down to CPU and RAM in regards to full screen as I can run the game in fullscreen without any noticeable drops in FPS. Game still degrades after around 30-40 minutes of continuous play to the point where it's nigh unplayable until you restart JPCSP (losing sound effects, voices, and then massive FPS drops/freezes). I'm still not sure what causes the sound effects and voices to gradually disappear but it's been an issue dating back to the original Dissidia.

that right, same as mine, I always restart my game after several minute, to get fps back Big Grin

This does not work. I have the 64 bit 2196 version. It loads to where you load a game then craps out. Tried all the different settings. Best thing i have gotten is a black and white garbled screen that crashes the program when i press start to bypass.

Try running the 32bit version instead. There are a lot of known problems with the 64bit version (such as many sound issues) whereas I've found the 32bit version to be much more stable.

Also, I seem to have fixed my FRAPs stutter problem. Here's a quick video showcasing how the game looks/plays at fullscreen without the horrible FRAPs stutter from my previous video:

It's because after a while, jpcsp will eventually run out of memory and the game will become slower and slower. My solution is to increase memory in start-windows-x86.bat like this:
Code:
-XX:MaxPermSize=256m -XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize=128m
After changing, I have to restart jpcsp after 30'-45' instead of 15'.

urm...dont u think it is actually easier to show the thing like how to allow the game to be play in video rather than in ABC?!!!
i am having a huge problem here with the AFTER TUTORIAL white screen

I've been having weird control problems in both Dissidias lately...basically the game sometimes picks the wrong attack even though I'm pressing entirely different keys. For instance, I'm trying to execute a bravery attack with analog stick left + circle, and the game thinks I pressed analog stick right + circle instead. Even if I stop moving altogether and only keep analog stick left + circle pressed, it will still do the right stick attack instead. Sometimes it doesn't register the left/right key presses at all and makes the default bravery attack.

I'm using a keyboard with W/A/S/D and Numpad keys in the controls, any ideas? The controls work fine and smoothly in all other situations, except it keeps triggering the wrong attacks (which is annoying as hell when you're meant to do a quick strike and you start charging some spell instead Tongue).
