Delete the folder data to recompile the game and all modules. Not sure what triggers this bug, but recompiling has been reported to fix it.

I tried it, but the game still freeze at that point. I have tried using different builds as well, but still won't work

Maybe PPU interpreter?

Still doesn't work Sad
I have attached here the logs of the PPU interpreter and the recompiler ones

Hey, I had this exact problem and I posted about it a few days ago. Actually I'm not quite sure what exactly helped, but try using speedhack and slowing it down until you get 30 or so FPS BEFORE you go down the elevator. It's either this or recompiling, I did both. If this doesn't help, I don't know what does.
Keep in mind that going up again will also get you stuck, so collect that treasure chest before you go.

Task Manager > Processes > find RPCS3.exe > Right click > Go to details > Right Click > Set priority > Realtime

I've increased mine for about 5-10 FPS where the song in the intro where MC escaping is now smooth and gameplay has less stutter.

Tell me if it works.

P.S. It's not permanent and you have to do everything again when you close rpcs3.exe

Happy playing!

That's not really a save thing to do a realtime priority thread can never be pre-empted by timer interrupts and runs at a higher priority than any other thread in the system. As such a CPU bound realtime priority thread can totally ruin a machine.

Besides this just means there is too much shit running in the background clocking cpu time on your machine close some of it and you don't even need to resort to dangerous "tweaks" like this and get the same result.

I can confirm this, computer completely froze when I tried this. Didn't cause any permanent damage, but I'm NEVER doing it again.

Very sorry to let you try out something that could possibly damage your PCs. Just ignore my last post then for people who are reading back the comments.

The emulator randomly crashes for me with the master versions. I tried a few versions before asking here because the custom version had never crashed. I used the recomended settings, deleted the game folder and updated my drivers just in case. It's a shame becaus the master version seems to be better in general.

The emulator crashes with this message:

Unhandled Win32 exception 0xC0000005.

How did you do the speedhack? By custom build?

EDIT: Nevermind that, I found the speedhack. But even after using it, the game still stuck at the elevator Sad

EDIT again: My bad, I actually speed it up, not slow it down. When I slowed it down, the game resumes. Thanks man! You're a life saver! Big Grin

I tried this build. FPS is unstable, the game hovered when you try to go into mementos.

And the log is full of errors and it is more than 4 megabytes in the archive, so it could not fill here. If interested, then the log is here: https://yadi.sk/d/g3CzN3oN3LnXws

It's WIP and expected to be slower.

RE: Persona 5 [BLUS31604] - raizen3 - 08-08-2017

Have been playing smoothly with a build from July 31st, currently in the desert palace, everything was doing fine, playing with 12-30 fps. I shut down the emu to grab a bite, came back started it up and now I cant go past 1-5 fps after the thieves guild question! I haven't done anything, or edited any file at all.

Been using the same config since July 31st and the same build. Now all of a sudden I cant play any more and my game struggles past the guild screen.

Help!
