"Jpcsp cannot display," yet...another - yukoneko - 03-22-2013

Hi guys, I've known there were other topics about this problems before, but none of the solutions seem to work for me.

Yes, I've...

updated Jpcsp latest version.
Jave latest version.
AA: OFF
Color depth: 32bit

My specs:

CPU info: Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 / 2.0 GHz ( Dual-Core )
Graphics Processo:r Intel GMA 4500MHD Dynamic Video Memory Technology 5.0
Max Resolution: 1280 x 800 ( WXGA )
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium

The operating system default for my laptop is supposed to be vista, but....I played with viruses a few days ago and ended up reinstall the whole thing with windows 7 ultimate version.

Everything's been good so far except for this: I installed jpcsp and did everything the same as when I used vista. It worked on vista, but refused to work on 7.

Here's what the emulator said:

Running Jpcsp 32bit...
java.lang.RuntimeException: Jpcsp cannot display.
The cause could be that you are using an old graphic card driver (try to update
it)
or your display format is not compatible with Jpcsp (try to change your display
format, Jpcsp requires 32 bit color depth)
or the anti-aliasing settings is not supported by your display (leave the Jpcsp
anti-aliasing to its default setting)

I've pondered around to look for solutions, but nothing's worked. I sill wonder whether this problem lie on the windows versions differences, or the new windows version incompatibility. I'm desperate, please help.

It should work on windows 7,just install the videocard's latest driver

The main problem with intel video drivers is that you can found several versions on intel web site, and all are called "Latest".

Which is the date of your video drivers?

virgil: I thought I did install it, but apparently, I didn't =_+, thanks for your help.
Montcer: thanks to your suggestion, I looked it up again and reinstalled the up to date that work for me. Thank you.

Though...after updating, my computer start up is like....10 times slower than before, but I guess it's not related to topic.
I've received the help I need, thank you.
