Haven't tried the game until it got Cache Rework and I must say I'm really pleased with the results so far, can play the game just fine and it feels really good overall good. Finally #PCMasterRace is alive.

And I mean, it doesn't look much worse than PS4 version I've played. Playing on PC tho is always fun for me.
Thanks for the great emu, RPCS3 Team.

P.S. I see a shader compiling process in log so I'm definitely using correct build.

Try playing with the SPU cores assigned. 1 is the most stable, but the speed is barely better than the old P5 build (in my case at least). Using more cores increases fps for me, but 3 causes some strange issues. At least in my case 2 SPU cores has been the optimal amount (I'm using an old I7 2600 - desktop, with an Nvidia GTX970).

By the way, in my case, turning on Frame skipping (in config.yml) just feels slower, maybe you should try disabling that again. What did it for me (thanks, by the way), was to change the "SPU delay penalty" to "0". It lowered the stuttering a lot! The game will sometimes hang for a moment while loading but the overall experience is smoother (in my case). It still takes a few moments to get faster in some cases, but the magical moment when it gets fast (maybe when finishes loading something), comes a lot sooner when its set to 0 Smile

By the way, anyone knows if the instance batching option in the config file works? I have it on now, since batching is usually an optimization, but I don't feel any difference...

Thanks for advice but that doesn't help me. With 2 SPU cores game just becomes much slower (9-10 fps against 15 fps with 1 SPU core). I guess the problem is in my Core i5 with only 4 cores.
And disabling Frame skipping doesn't help as well.
Guess I just have to play as is and hope for a new emulator improvement.
How do I Disable shader cache?
Game runs slower with this, using Igpu.

Just use an older version of the emulator and wait for optimization)
Recorded video, as it is played on my computer.
SPU cores assigned 1

Thanks to the developers, the game is over.
Despite the video with the hangs, I did not expect to play it for a long time because I do not have the opportunity to buy a console, the emulator gave me this chance. I love this game!
I'll try a new game +
Hmmm I have a question though, What is Vulkan?
since I notice a lot of people recommend it,
**Is it a program or something like OpenGL? Or can I just download it?

atm getting this Attached fragment shader is not compiled
not sure if its bc Im using OpenGL ;v
Can't seem to get past the loading screen. Can anyone help?
