on r1780, problem is still there... suspecting that either my iso is corrupted (cause i had the comp crashing on me at the last moments when i was away to buy some drinks) or that the game freezes there due to some unknown error.

Hmm... It's probably because of an unknown MemStick error.
Could you please post an INFO level log file for this game using r1780?

sry, was away cause i had some important things to do. also, ran the logger for like 10 seconds on the same screen under INFO level. here's the log. also, quick note is that im using r1793.
tested with r2319, crashing in the loading screen after the intro.
It hangs in the loading screen after the hangar screen (aircraft select) for me.
yeah guys here is a running problem in this game and some buggies errors are coming so i am not running it properly and thats why it has made my taste fade.
tested with r2394, game still crash in in the loading screen.
